About Me

Hi, my name is Hauiti (aka 24retoa) - born and bred in Aotearoa New Zealand - South Pacific. Picked up the guitar when I was 9 years old and began to copy my older sister and cousin - & by 10 my goal was to become a rock star and play at Madison Square Garden! Eventually I learned how to play - really well actually! Of course the first song i wanted to learn was the Led Zeppelin's classic Stairway to Heaven - the standard in my era for guitarists! (not to mention Red House & Purple Haze & Smoke on the water & the Blind Faith classics!)


I have seen a number of programs on the internet that claim to be able to teach a newbie how to play the guitar! I wish they were around in my day when i was learning to play rock and blues like Hendrix, Page, Clapton, & Blackmore - but never-the-less - despite the lack of programs and videos i still managed to learn how to play alot of these guys songs!


This site is dedicated to your guitar playing education; & with this purpose in mind i hope to review/try a raft of guitar programs that will provide you with sufficient information to excite & inspire you to learn/play/pick-up the guitar. And maybe, just maybe it will help you make an informed decision!
